Flying Couch Brewing was founded in Copenhagen in 2011 by brewmaster Peter Sonne as a 'gypsy' brewery and at the time one of the few of the tribe of Danish micro-breweries. For the first 3-4 years Flying Couch was Peter's playground as he was able to experiment with recipes out of line with most of the Danish breweries. During this time, he produced his beers in the factories of the well-known breweries Herslev Bryghus and Nørrebro Bryghus, to later open his own brewery in 2015 in the building of the old Stensbogaard brewery. , on Bygmestervej northwest of Copenhagen. Today, despite relatively modest experience, Peter and his team of brewers have already garnered praise from beer critics and eccentrics, and Flying Couch is thus a highly respected name in the marketplace. danish beer. On the other hand, it begins to quickly become known in Spain, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Austria, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Beer: NV PALE
Style: Pale Ale
A cleaner, more transparent version of their classic Nordvest Pale Ale, brewed with US/UK yeasts and Citra, Cryo, and Cashmere hops. This beer is quite refreshing and very well balanced. It has an aromatic flavor with little bitterness of pineapple, pine needles, passion fruit and lemon. Served at 8-10 °C as an accompaniment drink, or for dishes with poultry and pork. Ideal for the next very hot days of the typical Spanish summer.

Beer: WIRELESS WATER
Style: New England Double IPA
In a style rare to find in Spain (NEDIPA), Wireless Water is a powerful "bumblebee" with lots of pineapple and papaya notes. A beer that, although its alcohol content is 8%, is easy to drink on hot days due to its colossal aromas and tropical flavors and its low bitterness. A very creamy, silky and fruity double IPA that in the making of this latest batch, was drummed with lots of Citra Cryo and Azzaca hops! How about pairing this marvel with some oysters or a good baked white fish?

Beer: NORSE INSPECTOR
Style: Kveik IPA
This New England IPA uses Voss Kveik yeast, which is a truly distinctive yeast, but it's the Mosaic, Enigma, Idaho7 and Azacca hops that make this beer quite an experience. It is juicy and slightly bitter, not very fruity, but you can feel some flavor and aroma like that of apricot.

Beer: GOLDEN AXE
Style: New England IPA
The Danes at Flying Couch continue to make real hazy bumpers! This New England IPA that is hopped only with Citra, more specifically the extra potent Citra Cryo variant (and what a load of Citra Cryo it feels like!), is full-bodied and quite cloudy and juicy. It has a good balance of citrus and pineapple flavors. The latter is typical of the NEIPA (or as some purists call this style. Vermont IPA). With only 5.5% degrees this beer can also be very refreshing, and ideal for hot summer days. Serve at 6-8 °C and accompany with salads, white fish, oysters, or young cheeses.
ABV: 5.5%
