Lo Vilot was the first organically produced micro malting plant in Catalonia. It is located in the town of Almacelles (Catalonia), in a 19th century house that belonged to the parents of one of its founders. Today it is an ecological craft brewery that makes its beers with its own ingredients following ecological guidelines, which allows it to control all phases of the brewing process. Its founders, Oscar Mogilnicki and Quionia Pujol, call it the “Full Circle Beer Project”. Oscar and Quionia are the kind of brewers who venture to experiment, and that is why their craft beers are quite varied: gluten-free beers, acid beers, aged in whiskey or wine barrels, others with fruity ingredients, many of these, from relatives and friends of the town such as cherries, pears, quince and apricots. The grapes come from a biodynamic winery in the town. They themselves have taken it upon themselves to plant thousands of hop plants (a difficult plant to grow in low latitudes!) and a few acres of malting barley to meet the brewery's demand, thereby giving them more control over the quality of their brew. your product.
