Brewtal Box #057 / NOV 2022 - GRO BREWERS
Their motto: “We are Gro Brewers, brewers in action for your satisfaction!”. At the end of 2013, José Valiente and Marc Ciurana, two homebrewing enthusiasts, decided to join forces to make the most of their passion for brewing beer. This is how Gro Brewers was born in 2014. After a period of experimentation, production as nomads and involvement in the artisan movement in the province of Girona, they decided to start their own workshop. After a long road, surely full of joys and obstacles, Pepe and Marc have produced more than 20 references among which high-graduation black beers stand out (such as RESPECT, which won a gold medal at the recent Barcelona Beer Challenge 2022 in the Russian Imperial Stout category) and hoppy juices (the Hazy IPAs), although they have also begun to experiment with other styles including a sour in this edition of the Brewtal Box.

Style: Hazy IPA
Light in graduation, but with a lot of character! With a combination of Citra and Mosaic Lupomax hops with Talus, the result is a very aromatic beer with a lot of power on the palate and some bitterness. Aroma of resin and a little lemon.

Beer: FRUIT DREAMS
Style: Berliner Weisse
Sour wheat beer with melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. The result is a very drinkable and refreshing light beer with a flavor and aroma of melon and kiwi, perfect for these semi-summer autumn days that are taking place in some parts of Spain.

Style: Hazy IPA
Hazy Ipa with a medium body and plenty of character whose recipe combines three experimental HBC hops. A wide palette of flavors going through citrus, caramel sweet and red fruit. It has a fruity aroma with a hint of wood.

Style: Hazy IPA
Hazy Ipa light in alcohol but intense in flavor and aroma due to the combination of three Cryo hops: Mosaic, Centennial and Simcoe with Idaho 7 hops. This little juice has very tropical flavors and aromas.
