Brewtal Box #014 / APR 2019 - TWO KIWIS BREWING CO.

Brewtal Box
Spring is here to stay, and that is why Brewtal has selected for our subscribers refreshing beers with a good variety of hops. As always, we think of a variety of flavors, quality, novelty and design!

In 2016, Judit Piñol (Llofriu, Girona) and Michael Jones (New Zealand) formed Dos Kiwis Brewing Co after moving to Baix Empordà (Girona), with the motivation to create the beers they want to drink inspired by the brewing culture of Oceania and with a Catalan touch. In February 2019, they opened their brewery and "taproom" in Rupià (Girona), which they built themselves with mostly recycled materials and paying attention to every detail. And it is attention to detail that goes into each of their beers and everything do at DosKiwis Brewing Co.

ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) is an acronym for a joint Australian and New Zealand army in times of war. Similarly, ANZAC Spirit marries Australian hops (Galaxy) with a New Zealand hop (Motueka) in a beer with hints of grapefruit and passion fruit and a light, dry finish.
